Websites and tools too make them work
This is a listing of the techniques in using Google Adwords. It explains what each option is about, along with some tips and facts about what is involved in using any of them.
Google Search network
Ads can appear on the right hand side or highlighted on the top for keywords you have specified. This can be worth a fortune for the right position and or product on one of the millions of search terms used in a day. To advertise on the search page of the largest search engine in the world opens a world of income possibilities. With only this choice your ads will only show on search pages that are produced by Google.
Search Partners
Search Partners include such corporations as AOL, CompuServe, Netscape, Lycos and AT&T. Combine these with other Google properties such as blogs and a wide variety of participating websites, on practically every conceivable subject, and you get an amazing network of potential customers.
Both the search methods are thought to bring better quality clicks because the people who searched wanted to find what you have and what they were looking for. It is permission marketing at its finest.
Content network
Google also has a content network of its own working with entities like the New York Times, HGTV and The Food Network. The Google content network also includes the massive power of Gmail. It would be a mistake to miss the smaller entities such as people who provide content on small websites. There are millions of these small websites that cover practically every conceivable topic. With all these different opportunities, it can only mean more eyes seeing your ads. With all the options considered, Google covers over 80 % of the internet.
A lot of gurus will suggest that you leave this section out of initial attempts. Personally the content network has made me money, more money than the search functions. I use it a lot with click-per-signup where the end products is usually a free trial offer. The cost per click is generally less and the volume of clicks is generally more.
Placements you have targeted
If you aren’t comfortable with the keyword route, you have another choice. The placement function is relatively new. It offers a new way of advertising using Google. You can hand pick the sites that are most relevant to your ads. As long as the page is part of the Google content network then you can be one of the ads in the “Ads by Google” boxes. Check the page to see if it has any of these boxes. Also check if you think the page is acceptable for your ad. Some aren’t.
Google Tools that will help out your selections
Okay I can hear the groans, “picking keywords”, “picking websites”, sounds complicated. Really it isn’t that complicated but Google has thought about this. Under the Tools tab, they have a keyword tool that will suggest keywords based on either a topic or a URL that you supply. It not only suggests keywords but also groups them. That’s really quite handy for composing ads. The groups could be used as prime subjects for the ads. This keeps the ads and keywords closely related which is something that will help your quality score with Google. A high quality score lowers the bid needed for a specific position. The first three categories listed here are all dependent on keywords that you choose.
The other problem is picking websites for placements. Google also has a tool for that. The placement tool is only available from the ad group level under the Placement tab. When you choose the Add Placements menu option, Google will take you to the Placement tool. It will pick websites based on four different ways to get associated websites.
1. Picking from an expandable list of topics that are closely related to the subject of your ad
2. Specify a topic or multiple topics
3. Specific URLs. You put in the URLs and Google looks for similar websites
4. Demographically, things like gender, age or annual income.
It’s a Wrap!
Google also has the ability to put your ads in physical newspapers all around the world. They also do audio ads through a network of radio stations. By the time you read this, there may be even more options involving things like video and social networking like Facebook. The one think about Google is that they don’t sit on their hands after bringing new products online. The constant thing about working with Google is the changes that happen.
Google has become very popular on the Internet today. It dominates the field of search engines. According to a recent study, Google is responsible for generating more than 70% of the clicks to web pages that are searched through search engines.
Moreover, Google has devised a way to be able to put Internet marketing through a whole different level. Because of its market dominance, it has the capability to be able to set up a new pay-per-click system which aims at matching sellers and buyers referred to as the Google Adwords.
Adwords are the text advertisements that appear on the results page of your search whenever you use Google search.
For example, you’re looking up information on “Dell computers”. You would very likely then type in the words “computer” and “Dell” into the Google search box. Those words are called keywords and Google uses them as the basis to look for information on the World Wide Web.
Google publishes its findings back to you on what’s called a results page. The results page is a list of web pages Google suggests you visit to know more about your topic of inquiry.
This definitely means you yourself could advertise your product(s) or service(s) through Google and get noticed in clicks. In other words, you could place your ads on Google. With AdWords, not only are you showing your advertisement to people who are interested in your product, you also spend a significantly less amount of time and money in producing it. This is because of primarily two reasons:
KEYWORDS
Keywords are what matters with Google. Google allows you to capitalize on this interest by giving you the opportunity to show the user your advertisement for your product or service. The user is already interested about your line of business and therefore chances are good that he will read your ad.
In placing your ad with Google AdWords, all you need is a keen sense of knowing how your (potential) customer thinks. For example, if they want to find you, who offer for instance; website design services; they would type in “web design” as their keyword.
Moreover, knowing what keywords people will use to look up information allows you to address your ad to a more specific target.
PAY ONLY WHEN PEOPLE CLICK THROUGH
Another wonderful thing about Google AdWords is that the cost of advertising is brought down to very manageable levels. In conventional advertisements, you would have to pay FIRST before your ad is shown, but Google charges you only when a user clicks on your ad to visit your website. Just how much is charged for every click? Only as much as you want it to be. Google has implemented a bidding system to “sell” keywords where advertisers, just like you, will dictate how much a cost-per-click (CPC) on an ad will be. The general principle being: the more popular the keyword is, the more expensive it can become.

1. RELEVANCE
A primary aim is to reduce your cost per click (CPC). Google will favour you with a low cost per click if you master the concept of relevance. If you don’t, your pay-per-click rate will be high, your profits will suffer, your campaigns will probably fail, and your competitors will beat you.
Google is the undisputed leader (by far) among search engines because it provides searchers with results more relevant than those of any other. When a surfer types in a search term, Google’s complex algorithm returns pages that match closely the words searched for.
Google applies the same principle to AdWords advertisements. Ads that are more relevant than others are given preferential treatment. Less relevant ads are allowed to compete, but they are penalized by a high cost per click.
Google AdWords employs two distinct modes of measurement of relevance: A. Robot; B. Human.
A. An automated program compares the search term not only to your advertisement text, but also to the keywords in its Ad Group, to the URL of the specified landing page and even to the textual content of the landing page itself, to determine how relevant these components are to each other. If all four are tightly integrated with the search term, you’ll pay a very low cost per click — perhaps only 5 cents — and still command a high position on Google’s first page. Any component that does not match the search term closely causes the CPC to rise, perhaps even by a factor of a hundred!
B. Every time Google displays your ad, it records the fact. This is known as an “impression”. If a surfer clicks on the ad, Google records that also, and divides the number of clicks by the number of impressions. The result gives your ad a “click-through” rate (CTR). A similar calculation is made for your keywords that appear in the search term, to give them their own click-through rate. Google AdWords assumes that, if a human clicks on your ad, it is probably relevant to the search term typed in.
As your CTR rises, so do your keywords’ Quality Scores, and, as more and more keywords’ Quality Scores rise, so does the Quality Score of the entire Ad Group. The higher the Quality Score is, the lower will be the cost per click. Conversely, the fewer clicks your ad gets whenever it’s displayed, the lower your Quality Score and the higher your cost per click will be.
How to Increase Relevance of the 4 Components (keywords, ad text, URL, landing page)
If you create a campaign manually (rather than by “brute force” means), use only one keyword phrase per Ad Group, e.g., “adwords guide”, and specify exact match initially. Once the Ad Group’s Quality Score has increased, expand it to phrase match also, to capture phrases such as “online adwords guide” and “adwords guide for beginners”. (To specify broad match, to capture search terms like “adwords online guide” and “guide to adwords”, is impractical unless you use “brute force” software.)
Use the precise keyword phrase in the heading of the Ad Variation, and sprinkle the keywords in the two description lines.
Use the keyword phrase, hyphenated or unhyphenated, in the display URL, e.g., “/adwords-guide” or “/AdWordsGuide”. Not only does Google’s robot consider it relevant, but humans do, too, and are more likely to click on the ad.
Use the keyword phrase, hyphenated or unhyphenated, in the destination URL of the landing page, e.g., “/adwords-guide.html” or “/AdWordsGuide.htm”.
If possible, register domain names, both hyphenated and unhyphenated, containing the keyword phrase. Use the hyphenated one in the display and destination URLs, and redirect the unhyphenated one to the hyphenated one for other promotion purposes.
Use the keywords in the landing page content as follows:

We all heard about making money online. The question is how do you rely start making money online today. I am going to share with you on how you can start making money online without having a website, not knowing anything about web design, and not spending much money. That is right you do not have to have any knowledge of HTML code. All you have to know is how to type. There are hundreds of courses on the internet charging you hundreds of dollar for the information I am about to share with you. Do not spend any money on any online marketing tools until you read this.
The one way to take advantage of Google AdWords is to become affiliate. Affiliate marketing is where someone advertises for another website and in return that person receives commission for each sale their advertising brigs to that website. Here’s an example: Let’s say I want to sell Laptop Computers, but I don’t have a website and/or I don’t have any computers to sell. Well instead of starting a company, I can just find a company online which already sells computers and offers an affiliate program. Now that I have searched and found a company, I look at what they offer. Let’s say they are giving 10% commission on every sale I make. I decide to use that company and I set up my affiliate account with them and they give me a special URL (a web address that will let the company know that it was my advertising which gave them the sale), which I use in my advertisements. Now I make ad advertisement, and display it on Google. Whenever someone sees and clicks on my advertisement it will go to the company’s webpage. Let’s say that one hundred people clicked on my text advertisement and one of them buys a computer that cost $1,200. Because that person who bought the computer clicked on my advertisement that company will give me 10% of $1,200 which means that I made $120.00
Most online companies offer affiliate program. Companies like Best Buy, Circuit City, Office Max, Amazon.com, Buy.com and many more, literally tens of thousands. There are also companies online which all they do is offer other online business a way to have an affiliate program. These affiliate Companies manage affiliate programs for thousands of online companies. This means that if you have an account with Affiliate Company (they are completely free), you can advertise for any of the thousands of companies that use them to manage their affiliate sales. If you want to, you can search Google for affiliate programs just to see how big online marketing currently is.
By using AdWords and high paying affiliate program you can start earning money today. The AdWords advertisements are Pay Per Click (PPC), which means that the owner of that advertisement pays Google every time someone clicks on their advertisement. The main reason for wanting to pay for traffic is because it is very very difficult to receive free traffic on Google. When you sign up for Google AdWords Pay Per Click advertising your advertisement will be displayed almost immediately in Google’s search results (usually within 5 minutes). You can also decide which page you want your advertisements to be displayed on ( the first page receives more visitors than the other pages).
It is very simple to start Google AdWords account. Go to www.google.com and look toward the bottom of the page. You will see a link says “Advertising Programs”. Once you there, you should click on the link which says Google AdWords. After clicking “Click to Begin”, you will be taken to a couple of pages which will ask you how you want to set up your advertising group(s) with Google. Google will send you an email to the email address you specified which will contain a URL that you will need to go to in order to activate your account. After you go to that URL you can log into Google AdWords using your email address as your user name. Now that you have an account set up, you are ready to learn how to create a Campaign so you can begin making money online.
Here is how to create a AdWords campaign in Google. First off to create a new keyword campaign, click the link” Keyword-Targeted” campaign. You will be prompted to name your campaign. Your campaign name is what will be displayed on the first screen when you log into your Google AdWords account. Since you will most likely have several campaigns, when you name your campaign you will want to make sure it is unique name that will let you know exactly what you are advertising in that campaign. Next you will need to name your AdGroup. Remember, you will have several different AdGroups with one Campaign, so name it something that will help you know exactly what keywords are in that AdGroup. Next, you should choose the area(s) where you want your ads to appear. There are three different ways to choose where you want to advertise. You can choose to advertise by Countries and Territories, Regions and Cities, or Customized.
The most important thing you need in order to have a successful Google campaign is a text ad with a high CTR. Text Ads with a high CTR will increase your Quality Score which will increase your overall position.
Things You Should Know:
1. You are not required to have “http:” or “www” in your display URL.
2. Google will not let you capitalize all the letters in all your words, but they
will let you capitalize most of your words.
3. The website must not require additional software to load (example: it
cannot be a .pdf instead of .htm).
4. Back button must be able to go back to Google with one click.
5. You can’t have websites that mirror other websites that are advertised for
the same keyword (example: having the same pictures and text but using
a different web address). I know many affiliates do this, but I don’t know
how much Google enforces this rule.
6. The website you are advertising cannot have a pop up or pup under ad.
Another key to having a successful online business is making sure that every single person who is even the slightest bit interested in your product sees your advertisement. The best way to do this is by creating a very huge keyword list (thousands of keywords). Some products have many keywords, while others have very few. Usually the more keywords there are available for the product, the better. Not because it is searched more often, but also because most people who are also selling the same product will only select a few general keywords which may be very broad keywords.
When you bid on Google, you will not always pay the price you enter. The price you enter is the MCPC (Maximum Cost Per Click) you are willing to pay for that keyword. Google constantly updating the bids for the keywords in their search engine. For example if your MCPC is $0.15 and the advertiser in front of you is bidding $0.16 and the Ad one position behind you is bidding $0.05, you will only pay $0.06 per click, because there is no reason why you should have to pay $0.15 per click if you can get the same Ad position for $0.06 per click.
Google is a most searched search engine on the internet and with that they are consistently making update and improvement. If you are really serious about making money online or promotion you current business I will make a recommendation that will make you an absolute pro on AdWords. I’ve spend thousands trying to research best possible ways to market in the internet.

Google Adwords are ads that appear around natural search listings, so that you can target customers at the very moment that they are searching for your product or service. Google adwords are an excellent method of developing quick early momentum upon launch of a website. Google Adsense and Google Adwords are two sponsored advertisement programs offered by Google. Advantages Advertise to potential customers when they are searching for your products Reach a wider audience than any other medium Google AdWords are seen by 80% of the users on the Internet Specifically target Internet users who are most likely to buy your products Target customers geographically Pay only for customers who click on your advertisements Plans and Packages.
Google is one of the most popular things out there in the Internet. Google dominates the field of search engines. According to a recent study, Google is responsible for generating more than 70% of the clicks to web pages that are searched through search engines.
Google has also devised a way to be able to put Internet marketing through a whole different level. Because of its market dominance, it has the capability to be able to set up a new pay-per-click system which aims at matching sellers and buyers. Google has developed what is not referred to as the Google Adwords.
What is Google Adwords?
Google Adwords is one of the most promising advertising opportunities that abound in the Internet arena. It is a pay-per-click system that advertises websites which have the highest bids for a certain search word or phrase.
If one would look at the window of an Internet browser and search something on the Google search engine, he will notice a section containing “sponsored links” at the right-hand side of the screen. These are the Adwords advertisements. These are websites which pay to be shown whenever a certain phrase or word is searched through Google.
Bidding
Business bid for their preferred keywords when they use the Adwords system. For example, a business that is engaged in selling laptops may opt to bid for search phrases such as “laptops for sale” “cheap notebooks” if they are applicable to their products.
Bidding in the Google Adwords system to get the prime spots is primarily based on two factors: the click-thru-rate and the amount of the bid. The amount of the bid will depend on the bidder himself. Bids can go as low as a nickel per click up to fifty dollars per click. The bidder must know how much to spend because the system charges the bidding price whenever the website is clicked through the Adwords system. Another factor is the click-thru-rate, or the rate by which people are clicking the website. Usually, the top three sites that are shown on the Adwords screen are the most popular and have the highest bids.
How to Engage in Adwords
If one is looking into using the Google Adwords system as an advertising tool, he can read the guidelines and the terms of conditions through the Google website. There are a few steps which we could tackle on how to start using Google Adwords.
The first step is account creation. Google will guide you through this process. However, there are several things that one should take into consideration when creating an account. He should take into mind the different strategies that he would want to employ right from the start in terms of the selection of key words and the combinations of these words to be able to maximize the returns from engaging in this endeavor.
He should also target the right market in terms of selecting the right language and countries which he would want his ads to appear. If one is selling products which would be of no use for citizens of other countries or if the option of exporting the products is not available, he might as well stick with his own country. He wouldn’t want to get charged by generating clicks from people who do not belong to the target market.
The creation of an Adgroup is also a basic step in using the Google Adwords system. One should be able to conceptualize and design an enticing advertisement and select the right combination of keywords.
Advertisements
Google will ask an advertiser what he would want to put in his advertisements. The advertisement should contain a title line and a body. The title line is composed of a maximum of 25 characters and the body should contain a maximum of two lines which contain 35 characters each.
The real challenge in designing advertisements for Google Adwords is to effectively attract customers and get them to click the website. A concise but striking advertisement is particularly efficient in getting the attention of the surfers.
Links
When a prospective customer clicks a website through the Google Adwords screen, a continuous set of efforts should be taken. The link in the Adword should not necessarily be the home page of a website but should be a web page wherein he can find information that is important to him. The link, perhaps, can be the “products” section of the website.
These are just some of the basic things that one must be able to digest to get a general feel of what Google Adwords is all about. One must be diligent in studying the different aspects of this system to be able to get the most out of it.

Information Marketing is the business of buying and selling information, usually online, but sometimes offline depending upon where business takes you?
Google’s Adwords Program is a program for businesses selling products online. Google’s Adwords Program is a program that allows these businesses to advertise; to create their own ads, for their products, and have those ads displayed on other web sites.
Have you ever heard someone say, “make money with Adsense”? Google’s Adsense Program is a program that is available to anyone who has a web site, even if you are not selling products. The program is free, and you are allowed to place “Adword” ads on your web site, in accordance with but a few rules, and YOU get paid when someone visits your web site and clicks on one of YOUR Adword ads!
You can sign up directly at Google for either the Adwords or the Adsense Program, or both!
Google Adwords and Adsense Programs belong essentially to the category of advertising, or getting paid to advertise. There are also many other types of online business opportunities, ways to advertise, products to sell, and much, much more!
Google’s Adsense Program can essentially “be” your business. With Google’s Adsense Program alone, your web site acts as a sort of “backdrop” for your real business of advertising for other advertisers!
The purpose of this article is to explain, in simple enough terms, how to begin thinking about a web site, how to build a web site, and how to get started in the Google Adsense Program. The remainder of this article will outline for you the exact steps you need to take, from start to finish, to get up and running with the Google Adsense Program.
Designing a web site that can even be found in cyberspace by people that “surf” the Internet, and/or potential customers, requires the application of a concept called “keywords”. Whenever someone types a word or phrase in a search engine like Google, or Yahoo, that word or phrase is referred to as a “keyword”. Some keywords are typed a lot on the Internet, by a lot of people, and those are popular keywords.
Keywords should also be relevant to your site, and/or to your product. Keywords should be included both in the content of your individual web pages, within your site, and within the “meta tags” you design for each page in your web site.
Keywords applicable to this very article might be something like “information marketing google adwords adsense”, or even “adsense marketing google adwords information”. (People might type something like the above in the Search field at Google if they are trying to locate information on information marketing, and the Google Adwords and Google Adsense Programs.)
Once you come up with an idea for a web site, you will need to make a list of a minimum of twenty-five effective keywords. (Some very large web sites employ hundreds of “niche” keywords!) These keywords will become the “building blocks” for your web site.
You select EFFECTIVE keywords by which your web site will be designed around. Keywords are the means by which people will find you on the Internet, and using EFFECTIVE keywords helps to attract visitors to your web site.
To find yourself twenty-five or more EFFECTIVE keywords to begin building your web site with, start by brainstorming a list of words, or phrases, using topics of interest, and/or words that you have an interest in building a web site around. Once you have your group of words, you then proceed to determine the effectiveness of each of these “keywords”.
To determine the effectiveness of any word, phrase, or keyword, you can use a program such as WordTracker. (WordTracker lets you type in a word or phrase and searches the Internet to see how frequently that particular word is being typed into search engines. Any word found to have a Keyword Effectiveness Index, or KEI, of ten or greater, with a competition factor of less than five thousand, is considered to be an EFFECTIVE keyword.)
Once you have your EFFECTIVE keyword list, it is time to begin designing your web site. You will use your keywords as often and as frequently as you possibly can within the content and “meta tags” of your web pages. You will build and publish your web site around these EFFECTIVE keywords.
(How to go about building a web site is beyond the scope of this article, but I can recommend a program called Yahoo SiteBuilder. It is free to download, and very easy to use, even if you have no experience in building web sites.)
You will also need to familiarize yourself with a concept called SEO, or search engine optimization, so that you can effectively get your web site noticed by as many of the major search engines on the Internet as possible. For example, building a links library into your web site is a good idea as links are necessary to getting higher search engine ratings!
Once your site is published on the Internet, and registered with the major search engines, such as MSN, Yahoo, and Google, simply sign up for Google’s Adsense Program, and go to work selecting your Adwords (Google ads) and place them on your web site. Also, please make sure that you read terms of your agreement with Google so that you clearly understand the rules of what to do, and what not to do. (For example, you are not allowed to visit your own published web site and click on Adwords. i.e., paying yourself!)
Also, Google Adsense code is not allowed to be placed on any pages with adult content!
With your site, now laced with Google Adwords, up and running, your focus is now to attract and/or direct as much Internet traffic as possible to your web site. There are numerous ways to do this, and you should research and make use of all of the methods you can find. Again, all of this is beyond the scope of this article.
I hope that this article has helped you in making sense of what opportunities you can make in the world of online advertising, information marketing, and the Google Adwords and Adsense Programs are all about.
